About

The details...

I am a 23-year-old Graphic Designer and Creative born and raised in Rhode Island. In April 2023, I proudly earned my Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, which has paved the way for my professional journey. I recently started a full-time opportunity as the Digital Marketing Specialist at Warwick Mall, while also still having time to embrace the world of my freelance art.

Within the tapestry of my identity, I am a member of the LGBT+ community and I use she/they pronouns. Love has bloomed in my life, sharing over three years of companionship with my wonderful boyfriend Ben. Together, we cherish the antics of our adorable gerbil duo, Brad and Chad. Their fluffy little selves have a special place in my heart, and I could easily rant about their many quirks and unique personalities for a while. I also have a beautiful 7-year-old German Shepherd named Tobias, who I initially got from a cousin in North Carolina to be my Psychiatric Service Dog when I was a teenager, but she has since become one of my best friends and closest companions. Additionally,  we have a family dog named Angel, a pug mix who has so far lived an impressive fifteen years. Along with my boyfriend’s 3 dogs at his parent’s house, these furry companions fill my days with warmth. In the realm of spirituality, I embrace my identity as a Pagan Witch, finding solace and connection through herbs, crystals, candles, and the moon. This facet of my life seamlessly weaves into my creative endeavors, enriching my perspective.

In my free time, I love to pen pal and journal,  even curating an Instagram account (@handwrittenhailey) to share this passion. Thrift and antique stores are a lot of fun for me, sparking joy as I unearth hidden treasures. I love crafting, whether it's collaborating with my mom to create handmade cards or making jewelry pieces.

I experiment with an array of crafts, from resin art and perler bead creations to sewing and creating collages. This can be seen in my mom’s craft room, and she has since cut me off from bringing in new crafts until I complete some of the ones I started haha!

An essential aspect of my journey involves my identity as a neurodivergent individual. With ADHD and other disabilities that affect my overall well-being, my mental health has become important to me in order to cope as well as heal, so I can continue to do what I love and be the best version of myself I can be.

Residing in New England my whole life, I have fostered a deep appreciation for local businesses and artists. I'm inspired by the charm and character of this region to collaborate and contribute to their success.

The path I've chosen as a Graphic Designer is an intricate dance of creativity, identity, and mental wellness. It is my aspiration to continue weaving these threads together, creating a tapestry that resonates with others and leaves a positive impact on the world around me.
